A New York distillery makes Hudson Single Malt Whiskey. They use 100% locally grown barley in their production and an exclusive process for creating a lighter, sweeter single malt. Their process involves a 72-hour germination period followed by a longer, low-temperature kilning process. It results in a softer flavor reminiscent of a traditional single malt.

The Hudson single malt whiskey is aged in new charred oak barrels, giving it a bolder flavor with notes of vanilla, caramel, and a hint of citrus. This is a great whiskey to introduce friends and family to the world of single malt. Their flagship Single Malt Whiskey is a blend of barley malt, corn, and rye. This sweet, smoky Whiskey evokes the flavors of the classic cocktail. It's bottled at 46% ABV but is relatively mild, making it an excellent choice for beginners. The Hudson Manhattan is a great introduction to American single-malt whiskey. You can purchase it at any online liquor store selling in California and other parts of the USA.

Hi!
Thanks for adding Corsair distillery to this list. I am one of the producers of Triple Smoke and wanted to point out a few errors in the description of Triple Smoke. 1. We do not malt the grain used in this product but instead, it comes pre malted and smoked from three different sources: Cherrywood from America, Beechwood from Germany and Peat from Scotland.

This product is aged for 1-2 years in new oak barrels and there is no use of rye, wheat or corn used in any capacity for this SINGLE MALT whiskey.

I wanted to clarify since this description is quite inaccurate. You can find the proper description on our website: www.corsairdistillery.com

Thanks!

Lorna Conrad
