This single barrel of Rye Whiskey was crafted from 51% Rye and 49% Barley Malt. Aged in American Oak for 5 years and finished for an additional 20 months in a French Oak Wine barrel that once housed Second Line Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Originally reserved for what was to be Lazarus’ Rye, this orphan barrel was one of a family of ten barrels aged in the historic Butchertown district at Raff Distillerie in San Francisco, California.
