COLOR
Vibrant amber, mixed with deep copper and shiny orange tones
NOSE
Black cherry, herbal, and spicy notes. Cooked agave rises, expressing aromas of its sojourn in wood. Look for vanilla, peach, almond, maple, and burnt caramel.
TASTING NOTES
Silky yet intense, with a powerful personality. Cooked, sweet agave, a touch of coffee, with dry fruits.
FINISH
Lingers for days
SERVING SUGGESTIONS
Best served neat in a Riedel Ouverture tasting glass, Glencairn tulip glass, or simple lowball glass. Serve at room temperature and let the añejo breathe for a few minutes to fully appreciate the nose, taste, and finish. Our añejo is also remarkable in modern-classic cocktails such as Extra Old Fashioned or Corrido Julep. See Mixology page for inspiration.
