This bottle of British West Indies Extra Old (XO) Rum was distilled at Trinidad Distillers and at the Four Square distillery in Barbados in a combination of pot and column stills. It was aged in American Oak, ex-Bourbon barrels for smooth, classic flavour. This expression celebrates the true essence of its terroir and is bottled only at the very peak of its maturity, for a bold and complex taste experience for the discerning palate.
Tasting notes
On the nose an initial burst of citrus and dark stewed prunes gives way to just a touch of smoke. Upon tasting you discover rich vanilla and sweet caramel, leading to a smooth creamy finish.
