Terralta Tequila is made from handpicked mature agave plants with the correct amount of brix’s levels. The plants are shaved and the stem from the male agave plant that could add bitterness to the Tequila is removed.
Natural yeast is used so as not to change the tequilas natural flavor or aromas.
Terralta sources deep earth well water 140 meters (459 feet).
The oven used to cook, steam and clean the agave is custom made from stone.
A 19,000 Thousand pound Steam roller that was converted in to a Mechanical Tahona gently crushes the agave without breaking fibers that also cause bitterness.
Custom Copper stills that are cleaned by distilling water and steam before every batch.
