This Single Cask from the revered Auchentoshan Distillery has been sleeping in our warehouses for some years. At just over 40 years old, it is an extremely old expression from this Lowland Distillery. The purity of the water from Loch Katrine and the triple-distillation, combined with a long, slow maturation have imparted notes of rich fruitcake, cherries, and raisins, alongside hazelnuts and toffee. A sweet, grassy, floral finish ends with an intriguing aftertaste of liquorice and spicy oak.
