Heavily peated single malt whisky made with a mix of concerto and laureate malted barley (at 77PPM). Fermented with pinnacle MG+ and safespirit M-1 yeast. Aged in first-fill bourbon and re-fill whisky barrels. At 46% (25 PPM residual) with no-fill filtration or coloring.
Torabhaig is a new distillery that blends traditional and contemporary approaches. The first distillery to be build on Skye in 190 years, it is only the second legal distillery ever to operate on the island and has been fully operational since January 2017
